I have the wireless ones that come with the USB bltetoouh dongle thingy. worth the money and got them this christams that passed. I use them for COD and Battlefield and listening to music.Only thing is after a while you have to charge them via the usb cable that the PS3 dualshock uses. the surround sound thing you are talking about only works on games with the Dolby surround sound capability.
